one less car

from under the streets by SLEEPING GHOST

/

lyrics

an army of eyeballs staring at screens
an army of soldiers killing overseas
an anthill of cars flooding the streets
this is not the life i dreamed
we just wanted to be free from all cars and t.v.s
so take my hand and come with me
to the wake of simplicity
so we reclaimed the streets
and built a soapbox to teach
the brainwashed herd of sheep that they can change if they believe
like a coke bottle thrown to a tribe
we never needed gasoline to survive
this life of convenient luxuries
shows technology shall destroy humanity
if power and money leads to greed
I'm happy to live in poverty where we can live simply
