daydreaming of her days as a black metal girl
she twiddles her thumbs thinking about her world
when the days had bike rides and the nights had St. Ides
hanging out at basement shows
always wearing punk rock clothes
jenny gets all sentimental and wonders she ended up here
was it all accidental, was it too much beer?
now she eats meat and watches t.v.
drives to work in her new SUV

we just wanted to be free from all cars and t.v.s

and built a soapbox to teach
the brainwashed herd of sheep that they can change if they believe
like a coke bottle thrown to a tribe
we never needed gasoline to survive
this life of convenient luxuries
