wasted days and wasted nights

from under the streets by SLEEPING GHOST

/

lyrics

jenny stares out of her dreary cubicle space
florescent lights shine down on her distant face
jenny lives in an apartment down the street
she goes to sleep alone and slaves away the week
daydreaming of her days as a black metal girl
she twiddles her thumbs thinking about her world
when the days had bike rides and the nights had St. Ides
hanging out at basement shows
always wearing punk rock clothes
jenny gets all sentimental and wonders she ended up here
was it all accidental, was it too much beer?
now she eats meat and watches t.v.
drives to work in her new SUV
jenny once wore punk rock patches " One less car, resist, and the Statches"
